Create your own water-globe. It should be transparent and full of items of your choice. Create an illusion of the water-globe.

Create your own base for the globe.

Add some kind of writing to it using the Shear filter.

For the globe itself use the Spherize filter with all kinds of lighting effects.

Create a nice background. Don’t forget about the drop shadow so the globe looks REAL!

Add lighting effects, Burn or Dodge tools....
