Create a series of 6 (six) SQUARE 5"x5" art pieces that would depict an object of your choice. Anything school appropriate will do (a fruit, a candy bar, a toy, a set of pencils, candles, etc..)
This object will be depicted 6 times using different media (and style, if you wish to):

• pencil or charcoal drawing with value shading
• linear drawing using a thin Sharpie or pen and ink
• colored pencils
• watercolor paints
• acrylics
• pastels or oil pastels

Start with your sketchbook and draw the object from different views. Sketch at least 5 different versions.
Explore it - its form, proportions, colors, values, details, etc.
When you get familiar with the object - start working with a media (you choose the order).
