Build 2 houses in 1-point linear perspective.
Both houses are facing you and are parallel to your picture plain.
You start with already placed:
Start with one house and complete it before you work on the 2nd..
Connect the visible corners of the house to the vanishing point by drawing receding lines.
Draw lines that are parallel to the front side between corresponding receding lines.
Use a triangle and a ruler to easily draw parallel lines. Here is how it works:
Align a side of the triangle with the line that you want to duplicate.
Support the triangle with a ruler as shown.
Now all you need to do is to slide the triangle to draw parallel lines.
You can use that technique for any amount of parallel lines.
To keep all windows appear “leveled”:
Extend windows’ height to the corner of the building as shown.
Mark those points.
Draw receding lines from these marks.
Draw vertical lines to define windows. Use "triangle technique".
Make sure that windows in the first and second floors are aligned.
Windows get “thinner” as they go further.
Complete the second house
Add sidewalks.
Add details and color if you have time.
