STEPS
1. Choose a Quote
Pick an inspiring, funny, or thought-provoking quote (school-appropriate).
Keep it short (1–2 sentences max).
2. Plan Your Design
Think about the mood of your quote: serious, playful, bold, elegant?
Decide which typefaces (fonts) fit the message.
Plan hierarchy: Which words should stand out most?
3. Design the Poster
Use only typography (letters, words, punctuation, numbers).
Use size, weight, spacing, alignment, and color to show emphasis.
Experiment with different arrangements (stacked, angled, overlapping, etc.).
NO images or symbols—only text!
4. Final Product
One poster (In Adobe Illustrator).
Size: 8.5 x 11 inches (standard paper).
Your quote must be readable and clearly communicated.
Design Tips
- Hierarchy: Make the most important words the biggest/boldest.
- Alignment: Keep text lined up for clarity.
- Contrast: Mix bold vs thin, large vs small, serif vs sans-serif.
- White Space: Don’t fill every corner—let words “breathe.”
- Expression: Fonts should match the tone of the quote.
