paper folding
Use heavy weight paper (cardstock) for the assignment.
Paper may look flat and two-dimensional, but it can be transformed into a three-dimensional form simply by folding, bending, and manipulating its surface. In this exercise, you will explore how different cuts and fold patterns change the way paper moves through space.
Think like a sculptor: Start with a flat surface. Change it. Transform it. Create volume.
